Radiotherapy

An efficient way to treat cancer is with radiotherapy (RT), which uses ionizing radiation that interacts with matter by separating electrons from molecules, changing molecules and cells. This radiation can be direct (electrons, protons, or alpha particles) or indirect (photons).
